About us:

The Tuesday Night Cycling Club (TNRG) is a Cycling BC affiliated recreational road and gravel cycling club based in Sidney, BC.

The club's activities focus mainly on riding road bikes in nice weather on Tuesday nights in the warmer months, and gravel bikes in less-than-nice weather on Tuesday nights in the cooler months, with an overlap in the shoulder seasons.  Outside the club, our members ride all kinds of bikes from Road to Gravel to Cyclocross to Mountain to Unicycles.  Members of our club participate in charity rides like the Terry Fox Ride for Hope, Ride Don't Hide, Yana Ride, the Hospice ride and the Ride to Conquer Cancer.  We also ride in Cycling BC sponsored events like the Tour de Victoria, Okanagan Grandfondo, Gravel races, Randonneur events, Cycle Cross races, and the Victoria Cycling League races.

We have A, B+, B, C, and D road rides.  A group rides are fast and will drop slower riders.  B+ & B rides are a little slower and regroup after hills and sprints; B+ & B rides are no-drop rides.  C rides are slower and is a good place to get more comfortable with group riding and to rebuild your fitness; C rides are no drop rides.  D rides have a more relaxed paceline and are good place to get introduced to group riding; D rides are no drop rides.

In the winter the tuesday night ride becomess a night gravel ride, and on weekends people venture on longer gravel and/or road routes.  These are all no drop rides.
